What is FIRESAFE GPG MARINE MORTAR?

GPG Marine is a mortar applied to seal cable and pipe penetrations through fire barriers. GPG marine is a low-cost solution compared to traditional systems. The excellent fire-resistant properties combined with extraordinary heat absorbent qualities make the product an attractive choice as a fire sealant. When mixed with water the product becomes light green.
Firesafe marine mortar is specifically formulated for marine applications, particularly for sealing penetrations and gaps on ships to enhance fire safety.
Depending on the water/powder ratio one can easily adjust to desired consistency (i.e. from “liquid to sticky paste”). New penetrations can be made in “old” material and resealed. It takes about 45-60 minutes to harden. The product has been tested for IMO-fire (e.g. A60, A0), HC-fire (e.g. H0, H60, H120), and jet-fire (up to 350kW/m2). GPG Marine is mainly developed for usage in marine, offshore, petroleum or other process industries, which need to withstand high fire loads. GPG Marine has high resistance to water/humid exposure and is therefore well suited in a marine environment.
GPG is a powder consisting of plaster, perlite and glass fibre that when mxed with water forms a mortar. The product is intended for use in internal conditions with humidity lower than 85 % RH excluding temperatures below 0 °C and without exposure to rain or UV (category Z2). The mortar hardens into a strong and fireproof material. GPG is used for fire proofing penetrations of cables, pipes and small holes in walls and floors. The mortar effectively prevents fire, smoke, and poisonous gases from spreading between fire cells.
GPG is also used for insulation against noise, drafts, air pollution as well as for finishing work such as repair of scars in concrete, cotter slots, etc. The mortar has excellent finishing properties and adheres to concrete, plaster and steel.

Magnalube-G PTFE Grease is a high-temp grease that will outlast conventional grease lubricants.

- High temperature range is better, or equivalent to, other high-temp greases; however, Magnalube-G has excellent thermal stability, so its performance is constant from very low temperatures (-40 degrees Fahrenheit) to very high temperatures (+530 degrees Fahrenheit).

- The molecularly bound MOLY-PTFE solids bond to surfaces and form a protective layer with one of the lowest coefficients of friction on earth.While the blend lubricates, the molybdenum itself can withstand pressures of up to 500,000 pounds per square inch in its solid state,resulting in superior extreme load protection.
2. PERFECT FOR LOW SPEEDS, VIBRATION CONTROL, AND NOISE REDUCTION
- Unlike hydrodynamic lubrication, where high-speeds help form a lubricating wedge, slow speeds require the addition of lubricating solids like our MOLY-PTFE blend. This advanced boundary lubrication additive makes Magnalube-GX perfect for all low speed, extreme pressure applications. In addition, these solids help absorb vibration and reduce noise.
3. STABLE IN EXTREME TEMPERATURES FOR MAXIMUM RELIABILITY
- Magnalube-GX has a dropping point of 550 Fahrenheit, and the added protection of molybdenum disulfide that will withstand temperatures up to 750°F. This feature provides extra protection for your equipment if the grease is overheated or if a regularly scheduled lubrication interval is missed.
4. MECHANICALLY/CHEMICALLY STABLE WITH EXCEPTIONAL FILM STRENGTH
- Magnalube-GX has polymer additives to enhance tackiness, and film strength so that the grease stays where you put it, and provides maximum protection over time. The grease is designed not to splatter or get pressed out when pressure is applied, and will provide maximum protection against shock loads.
5. RESISTANCE TO WATER PREVENTS RUST AND CORROSION
- Magnalube-GX forms a lubricating film that resists water and other liquid contamination. In addition to proprietary, anti-corrosion polymers the PTFE in the grease forms a protective film that prevents the chemical reaction necessary for rust and corrosion to occur.

What is Fireseal?
FireSeal has some 30 years fire sealing experience within marine- and offshore applications and has an impressive reference list from some of the world´s largest shipyards.
Our systems, which are used for all deck and bulkhead applications, are recognized as extremely easy and fast to install but also to maintain and modify.
With only a few systems FireSeal handles all common applications aboard a ship vessel or offshore platform. Our main system, Flex-D, handles both cables, pipes and ductwork applications without the usage of any frames or special tools.
In fact, the Flex-D system requires practically no technical training to install and the installation process is in most cases a 20 minute operation.
All FireSeal systems carries various approvals and certificates from DNV, ABS, SP, Rina, Germanischer Lloyd, US Coast Guard and MED.

FIRESEAL MARINE WRAP – SQUEEZER C
Marine Wrap [Squeezer C] is a graphite intumescent wrapping material applied around plastic pipe(s) that penetrates A0 – A60 fire cells. It will prevent fire, smoke and gas to spread into surrounding areas. The intumescent material expands when exposed to fire and compresses the plastic tube(s) and thereby seals any openings.
- Marine Wrap [Squeezer C] is approved for usage of single or multiple plastic pipes.
- No“hot-work” (welding) is required.
- Protects any type of plastic pipe(s) from damage going through the deck/bulkhead.
- One size fits any plastic pipe(s) sizes.
- Rated for A0 – A60.
KNIPAREN 50 INTUMESCENT SLEEVE
Intumescent Sleeve [Kniparen 50] is a single- or multiple cable and plastic pipe seal aimed for deck and bulkhead penetrations and installed with self-tapping screws. Intumescent Sleeve [Kniparen 50] will prevent fire, smoke, gas and water to spread into surrounding areas. The elasticity and strength of the sealing material offers a flexible seal that resists movements and vibrations without cracking, deformation or loss of adhesion.

MARINE MULTI MS – ADHESIVE & SEALENT



Marine Multi MS is a fire rated adhesive, elastic and at the same time paintable sealant. Adheres thanks to SMP base to various materials and surfaces. Marine Multi MS fulfils the highest branch standards and also the requirements of the International Maritime Organization IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 2+5.
Multipurpose marine grade sealant and adhesive suitable making elastic and vibration resistant joint seals. It can be used for a variety of interior and exterior sealing and bonding applications in the marine and offshore industry.
